Active and legally compliant debt collection management remains a top priority for debt managers in the energy industry. Current information on service disconnection, the digitization of payment processes, as well as recommendations for customer communication were on the agenda from September 19th to 20th in Essen this year.

Over 150 participants once again exchanged insights on current topics in debt collection management within the energy sector and stayed informed about the latest developments. Two days were dedicated to professional exchange and networking with like-minded individuals. This year's event was complemented by a visit to the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex and a dinner, providing an opportunity for further networking.h.

In addition to the current legal aspects of debt collection management, innovative solutions for digitizing the collections and payment process were a special focus, well-received by the participants. Especially given the prevalent shortage of skilled professionals and the ever-changing legal requirements in the energy sector, such solutions are seen as efficient and goal-oriented ways to address these challenges.
